Important Notice: Rock Hopper Tech Is Not Hiring at This Time
It has come to our attention that scammers are impersonating Rock Hopper Tech and sending fake job offers, often for remote positions such as "Scrum Master" or similar roles.
If you have been contacted with a job offer claiming to be from Rock Hopper Tech, please assume it is fraudulent unless it comes from an official @rockhopper.tech email address.
We are not currently hiring and are not conducting any interviews or onboarding through personal email accounts (such as Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo), text messages, messaging apps, or Microsoft Teams chats.
How to Identify a Fake Communication
The message is a scam if it:
- Does not come from an official @rockhopper.tech email address.
- Uses personal email addresses like @outlook.com, @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, etc.
- Asks for your bank account information for “payroll enrollment.”
- Promises to send money to you to purchase a laptop, printer, or other equipment.
- Requests personal information such as your SSN, driver’s license, or home banking login.
- Conducts interviews through Microsoft Teams using personal usernames or unverified contacts.
What To Do If You’re Contacted
- Do not share personal, banking, or identity information.
- Do not send money, deposit checks, or purchase equipment for anyone claiming to be Rock Hopper Tech.
- Report the message as phishing to your email provider.
- If you already sent money or information, immediately contact your bank and local authorities.
To verify any communication claiming to be from Rock Hopper Tech, please use only the contact information listed on our official website and ensure the sender's email domain is @rockhopper.tech.
